InterContinental Hotel Wellington
This was my first ever visit to an InterContinental, and I chose Wellington — mainly for the waterfront location and to finally try their afternoon tea. The Level 7 executive lounge setup (due to renovations) was honestly really cozy, and the service was genuinely excellent.
Pros

- +Afternoon tea felt reasonably priced at $59 NZD
Cons
- -Renovations meant high tea wasn’t in the usual downstairs venue
- -A couple of items were a bit dry (like the macaron and some bread)
