In today’s video I’m sharing three very real ways Africa has changed my life now that I’m back in America. Living abroad didn’t just give our family memories—it reshaped how I think about everyday life, how I approach “normal” routines, and what I value most when it comes to home, learning, and family time. I talk through the mindset shifts that stuck with me, and how those changes show up in the little choices I make day to day. Because I’m a homeschool mom of six, a lot of what I share connects to how I teach and how we live as a family. When you’ve had to be flexible, resourceful, and build rhythms in a totally different environment, you bring that perspective with you—whether you’re planning lessons, shopping, or just trying to keep your home running.
