What pedals are in the Nobels new mini series play through?

In this video I’m running the Nobels new mini pedals and focusing on four core units: DEL mini Delay, CHO mini Chorus, MOD mini Modulation, and the ODR mini 2 Overdrive. I also demonstrate different modulation modes like tremolo, phaser, and UniVibe. Everything is shown as a straight play through with no talking.

What is the signal chain Jimmy Lin used for the Nobels mini pedals demo?

Accepted Answer

I’m using my FGN EOS2-AL-R with the original pickups into the NUX MG-30 with stereo output. From there I record through the NUX NAI-24 interface into Logic Pro X. I didn’t add any compressor in the recording chain so you can hear the pedals and patches more honestly.

Does the Nobels mini delay have tap tempo in this demo?

Accepted Answer

Yes, I show the tap tempo mode in the timeline section of the video. I run through the delay sounds and then demonstrate how tap tempo behaves in the play through. You’ll hear it in context with the rest of the chain.

What’s the difference between the analog delay and digital delay sounds in the video?

Accepted Answer

I play through both analog delay and digital delay sections back-to-back so you can hear the feel change. The analog side comes off warmer and more rounded, while the digital side stays clearer and more defined. I keep the playing consistent so the comparison is easier.

How does the Nobels ODR mini 2 overdrive sound when you tweak it?

I save a section near the end to tweak the ODR mini 2 and show how the EQ/drive feel changes with small adjustments. It’s the kind of overdrive that can go from subtle push to a more forward blues/rock grind. I also demonstrate it combined with the other pedals so you hear how it stacks.
