4 Fun Things to Do (and Eat) around Vancouver! | Arcade, Kayaking, and more!

Come along with me on my staycation where we explore 4 fun, unique (less mainstream) ideas for things to do in the city of Vancouver! We went to Anton's Pasta Bar, The Rec Room, Whytecliff Park, and Deep Cove! Check out the descriptions of each place down below! Definitely a must-try if you're essentially in the mood for all-you-can-eat pasta. A lot of people take boxes home for leftovers. Really good bang for your buck! The Rec Room - https://www.therecroom.com/default It's rare to find decent arcades in or around the city of Vancouver so this one is fun! It has all of the classic arcade games, plus a dining area and bar, so it's a great place to spend the evening gaming! However, be warned that because it recently opened it tends to get quite busy and crowded. Whytecliff Park - https://westvancouver.ca/parks-recreation/parks/whytecliff-park This is a nice beach/park to visit if you want to explore all that the city of West Vancouver has to offer! It's a bit further out from the city, so it tends to be less busy. There's also a lot of cute shops nearby and lovely parks and nature. Deep Cove Kayaks - https://www.deepcovekayak.com/ Rent a kayak or paddleboard for 2 or 3 hours and explore the waters of Deep Cove!
