This one is the audio for my record “Free” — straight off my album GRAVITY. The whole song is me processing how fast time runs, looking back at past regrets and struggles, and being real about the ways I used to beat myself up. I talk about wasting time, trying to get it back, and how I’d block my own blessings by locking myself away and chaining myself mentally. The turning point is when I finally take away the pressure and let myself breathe — that’s where the “now I’m free” really comes from. I’m also speaking to the growth that happens when you stop carrying everything alone. My mama always told me no situation lasts forever, and I leaned on that when it was hard to let my guard down. I’ve fought fears over the years, cried real tears, and this record is the proof on the other side of that: living life, feeling lighter, and choosing peace. If you’ve been stuck in your head, I want this to be that reminder — don’t worry about me, and don’t give up on you either. I’m free, and you can be too.
