The Dreame TriCut brush roller is fully compatible with the L40 Ultra Gen 2, and I’m a big fan of it for one main reason: hair management. In my testing it had zero tangles on the roller and noticeably less buildup on the ends, which is a big deal if you’ve got pets or long hair.

- +Slightly improved hard-floor pickup and grout agitation in my tests
Cons
- -Carpet pickup tested lower for me than the stock rubber roller (93% vs 98%)
- -May not be the best choice if your priority is maximum carpet pickup
