Do recovery slides actually help — or are they just glorified sandals? As a foot specialist, I’ve been sent a lot of recovery slides to review over the last year, but I’ve declined most of them because they don’t change anything mechanically. These ones do — and that’s why I agreed to review them. Get my monthly shortlist of the best walking & running shoes (plus real sales worth grabbing): https://flawless-shoe-reviews.kit.com/newsletter Check out the Enertor Recovery Slides on their website belowt: https://enertor.com/ In this video, I explain exactly what makes these Enertor recovery slides different from most others on the market, who they’re actually designed for, and when they do (and don’t) make sense to use. These slides are designed specifically for recovery use only — not for everyday walking outside. They’re intended to be worn around the house after training to help reduce lower limb fatigue, tired calves, and sore feet. What I cover in this review: Why most recovery slides don’t change anything mechanically How a higher heel-to-toe drop helps offload the Achilles and calf muscles Why softness alone isn’t enough for recovery The importance of stability in recovery footwear Arch contouring and metatarsal support explained Why fit matters more than people realise with slides Who these slides are (and aren’t) suitable for I also discuss the design features that stood out straight away, including the lightweight build, snug-fitting upper, softer midsole with a stable base, metatarsal bar, and anti-slip outsole — and why these features actually make sense from a biomechanical perspective. Important note on sponsorship This video is a paid sponsorship with Enertor. The slides were sent to me for review, but the sponsorship had no influence on the editorial process. This is an honest personal opinion, exactly the same as all my other reviews on this channel. There was also a small consumer study carried out, which I discuss in the video. While it’s self-reported data and not strong scientific evidence, I explain why the design features still make sense clinically. The slides are available in multiple colours and are launching at £65. I’ll leave a link below if you’d like to check them out.
