INSTA360 GO ULTRA - can you vlog with just the camera? NO action pod

one of the cool things about the insta360 go ultra is the fact u can remove the camera from the action pod, turning it from a small camera into a teeeeny tiny camera. buuuuut can u actually head out for the day with just the camera and make a vlog with it not being able to see what ur recording or recorded? well... i did just that and left the action pod at home and went out with just the camera...
