Have you ever opened PowerShell, saw that blinking cursor, and thought, “Yeah… I’m not doing this today”? That was me for years. I knew PowerShell was powerful for Microsoft 365, but every time I needed a script I’d waste time searching online, copying commands, fixing errors, and sometimes just giving up and going back to the Microsoft 365 admin center. In this video, I show you what changed: I built a Google Gemini Gem that acts like my personal PowerShell assistant for Microsoft 365. I walk you through creating the Gem, the exact kind of instructions I give it (prefer modern modules like Microsoft Graph and Exchange Online, include connection steps, add comments, and explain the script). Then I demo real admin tasks: listing all shared mailboxes and exporting the results to a CSV, finding mailboxes with email forwarding enabled (a common compromise indicator), and pulling inbox rules across mailboxes to spot hidden rules attackers may create. The big takeaway is simple: I don’t need to memorize complex commands anymore—I describe what I want, review what the AI generates, understand it, and run it. It’s like having a PowerShell expert on demand, and it’s made me use PowerShell almost every day.
