Hey friends—welcome to this week’s vlog. We’re doing a little bit of everything: a cozy book chat, a spring “shop with me,” and some real-life mom-life updates as we get closer to our Disney trip. I share my thoughts on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s Atmosphere (I love her writing, but this one wasn’t quite a five-star for me—more like a 3.75). It’s set in the 1980s and follows women training to be some of the first astronauts, and it genuinely made me think about space in a totally different way. I’m also halfway through The Ministry of Time right now, and I’m already hooked—more on that later when I finish. Then we head into Nordstrom Rack (one of my favorite places to shop anyway), and I try on a bunch of spring pieces—white denim, stripes (you know I love a blue-and-white stripe), a floral jacket that is just so darling, and a few easy outfits that feel perfect for spring travel and spring break. Back at home, I’m sharing updates like getting bloodwork done to check my levels, prepping for the trip, and a little life reset—like cleaning up the basement and getting Easter decorations out. And I finally answer the big question I keep getting: the Skylight Calendar behind me. We’ve been using it for a couple months, syncing our calendars, and using the kids’ task/star system for chores—and honestly, it’s been a two-thumbs-up product in our house.
