In this video, I’m sharing the anonymous story of a French-speaking content creator who paid over $6,500 CAD for what she believed would be ethical, supportive business coaching. Instead, she found herself caught in a manipulative dynamic filled with love bombing, spiritual bypassing, and emotional coercion. The coach promised personalized support, strategic guidance, and a values-based approach — but what she actually delivered were daily cold showers, ancestral forgiveness rituals, and “money mantras” on YouTube. There was no contract, no clear deliverables, and no accountability. Just vague spiritual advice and a disturbing emotional attachment that left this creator feeling more lost than ever. As the sessions went on, the boundaries blurred. When the client finally asked for a refund, she was met with defensiveness, gaslighting, and accusations — classic tactics that many in the unregulated coaching space use to avoid responsibility.
