We started Kara’s Sweet 16 in the most meaningful way — with a special day that was all about joy, travel, and being together as a family. As an autism family, celebrating milestones can look different, and I wanted this day to feel calm, safe, and genuinely happy for Kara while still making it feel like a BIG moment.
