About This Video

I just got off a call with my mentor and heard a story about a bookkeeper whose day is basically: log in, click buttons, reconcile, categorize. And that’s the canary in the coal mine. In this video, I’m saying the quiet part out loud: AI isn’t “coming” for knowledge work—it’s already here, and it’s rewriting the value of button-clicking roles across bookkeeping, accounting, consulting, and even IT support. I also share how my team and I hit our own existential moment over the last couple of years—asking if we’d still be useful, if we’d still have a business, and what we’d do next. We went through a rigorous product-market fit process and came out the other side with a clearer vision: agentic working—where everyone has an amazing assistant available all the time—and there’s still real value in human expertise, but the role changes. The takeaway is a practical fork in the road. If you’re a “doer,” you need to transition into an agent orchestrator/manager—someone who coordinates agents instead of just doing tasks. If you’re a leader, you’re now coordinating people and agents, and you need a builder mindset: turning processes into repeatable “skills” (Gems in Gemini, similar concepts in other tools). My big question for you is simple: what’s your plan?
