In this video I tested a new spec-driven toolkit called Superpowers, and honestly it’s one of the first workflows I’ve seen that actually ends the “messy vibe coding” problem. Gemini (especially) can be lazy and miss details, and even Claude can make excuses when you try to juggle multiple tasks. So I wanted something that keeps the agent focused, reduces hallucinations, and outputs code that feels way more production-ready. What makes Superpowers different from OpenSpec/SpecKit/BMAD is that it doesn’t just help you write specs and task lists—it pushes the agent through the entire engineering workflow. I show how it guides brainstorming → spec generation → implementation plan → task breakdown → execution with subagents, plus test-driven development, code reviews, and git branch management before merging. I also compare results using the same Space Invaders-style request, where the Superpowers + Claude Code workflow produced noticeably cleaner, higher-quality output than doing it inside a normal chat interface. Then I walk through a real landing page build: I prompt Superpowers to brainstorm a futuristic AI aesthetic site, answer its clarifying questions, pick an approach, and let it generate an executable implementation plan. From there it autonomously builds interactive visuals like shaders, glassmorphism cards, animations, and 3D motion—fast, structured, and way less chaotic than typical agent prompting.
