The trail starts in Angel Fire and ends in Taos. Some have said it's the best trail in New Mexico. For me this trail was a lot of punishment! I think I had a mild case of altitude sickness. I could not catch my breath, even after a long rest. If I tried to inhale fully, I'd cough. I had a headache, nausea, and felt weak! After the ride I immediately got some carbohydrate rich foods in me, and felt much better in a few hours. So just beware if you're traveling from a low elevation like me!
