This trail was listed as "open - tacky" when we started our ride, so we believed it would be okay (there was also one other trail close by that was open). It wasn't until we were almost done with our ride that they closed it. Because it was our first time at this trail, we didn't know how many spots would be muddy. Often trails are opened even when there are a few trouble spots. In the end, the trail never should've been opened up, and we never would've ridden it had we known it would be this bad! I absolutely respect our trails and the crews that maintain them, and would never knowingly ride a trail that was closed due to being too muddy. In this case, we trusted that because it was officially open, it wouldn't be a problem. My mission is to inspire others to live for experiences & adventures over material things!
