Is It Broken? | Mountain Biking Captain Ahab Moab, Utah | Magnificent Moab Ep 3

Get Huntstyle merch & support the channel: http://huntstyle.storenvy.com I'm out of chronological order, as Captain Ahab was day 3 of Outerbike, and I still have at least 3 videos to come from days 1 & 2, but I had to get this one out! This was the popular Amasa Back climb and Captain Ahab descent in Moab, UT. This is a very technical mountain biking trail with about as fun as a climb can be, and quite the rowdy, gnarly descent. The trail was an absolute blast, but it bit me a couple times! It's been a long time since I've crashed like this, but then again I don't ride trails like this every day! On the first crash, I had actually cleared the climb no problem, but miss-timed my pedal stroke causing a pedal strike that resulted in a pretty nasty fall, since there was a 2.5-3 foot drop off the trail to the left. On the second crash my handlebar contacted a rock, and then I over-corrected, turning the wheel 90-degrees back to the right, thus sending me over the bars. Once again, I fell even further to the ground since the terrain dropped off. In spite of this, I finished strong on the rowdiest section of the trail at the end. Once back in Texas I went to the doctor to get an X-ray of my wrist. Was it broken? Watch to find out!
