From Idea to App: Student Projects from the module Computer Science Concepts for Data Scientists In this video, we showcase five student projects developed in the module Computer Science Concepts for Data Scientists within the MSc in Applied Information and Data Science at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. The module is led by Prof. Dr. Martin Zimmermann and Prof. Dr. Halldór Janetzko, who guide students through the technical foundations of computer systems, cloud architecture, algorithms and data processing, before translating theory into functional prototypes. Through collaborative teamwork, students move from idea to architecture, from concept to prototype, applying structured data processing workflows and cloud-based thinking.
