Through House + Holm, we’ve been able to connect with so many incredible human beings. Our lives have been forever changed. There are a number of reasons why we came to the conclusion to close our (online) doors. It’s a decision we haven’t made lightly. First and foremost, we have been burning the candle at both ends for quite some time now. My husband has been so blessed by a recent job change, and it has allowed our family to have more work/life balance. For that we are so grateful. We’ve taken this as an opportunity to evaluate our priorities. In this season, we both feel a calling to be more present at home. Running a small business together has been something we’ve truly enjoyed, but it is not for the faint of heart. Every six months or so, we have stopped and asked ourselves if all of the hard work was worth the sacrifice. In the past, it had been. However, this check-in hit different. Our hearts had been softened to the idea of closing our doors. Over the last two years, we’ve been able to start and grow a YouTube channel where we get to share about our true passion (and the reason House + Holm was born) - making a house a home. We will continue to have a regular presence on YouTube and this account will remain. Sharing about all things home is something we truly enjoy! This has been such an amazing growing experience for Chad and I, and working alongside each other has been such a gift. But all of you... having you on our side and lifting us up and encouraging us, praying for our family and sending love… you’ve opened our eyes to see the goodness that is all around us.
