Today we’re staying at InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay. This hotel is located in the Robertson Quay neighborhood, right along the Singapore River. It’s a lively yet relaxed area filled with restaurants, cafés, and riverside bars. Overall, we had a really great stay here. So if you’re curious about this hotel, let’s take a look. The lobby is located on the fourth floor. The check-in counter itself isn’t very large, but right next to it there’s a spacious lounge area where guests can sit and relax. There is also a swimming pool, but it’s actually quite small. And almost every time we passed by, it was full of people, so unfortunately I didn’t really get a chance to film it. At the end of this corridor is the Club InterContinental Lounge. We’ll check that out a little later, but for now let’s head to the guest room. The hallway is a bit narrow, but it still feels quite elegant and refined. And when we first opened the door, the first impression was pretty good. Inside the closet, you’ll find everything you’d expect: a safe, slippers, laundry bag, and bathrobes. But there is one rather funny design detail here — the toilet actually shares the same door as the closet 😂. And honestly, sitting inside always gave me this slightly strange feeling that I can’t quite explain. I feel like this must have been designed by some kind of… design genius. Or maybe a design rebel. The bathroom itself is fairly standard. It’s not very large, but the amenities are from Byredo, which has become something of a signature for InterContinental hotels. There’s also a separate shower room next to it. Overall, the bathroom area is on the smaller side. The bed, however, is impressively large and very comfortable. Next to the bed you’ll find charging outlets as well as a wireless charging pad, which is quite convenient. The minibar is fully stocked. And right outside the window, you get a nice view of the river, which is definitely a highlight of the room. Now let’s head down and check out the restaurant. Publico Ristorante & Garden is the hotel’s Italian restaurant. It serves modern Italian cuisine in a relaxed setting, and the outdoor seating right by the river is especially beautiful. The food quality here is actually very good. The atmosphere is lovely, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are surprisingly generous. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend ordering as much as we did. We were just really hungry and assumed the portions would be small… so we accidentally ordered way too much. But overall, this restaurant is definitely worth trying. After dinner, we went for a walk along the Singapore River. This area is really enjoyable to explore. It’s perfect for an evening stroll, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and bars along the river. The nightlife here is quite vibrant, so staying at this hotel definitely won’t feel boring. Later in the evening, we visited the Club Lounge. This might actually be the most crowded InterContinental lounge I’ve ever been to. There were simply too many people, so it was impossible to film the interior. Even though it was crowded, the atmosphere was great. It clearly shows how popular the lounge is among hotel guests. The next morning, we had to check out quite early and didn’t have time to sit down for breakfast. Fortunately, the lounge offers a takeaway breakfast service. You can choose your breakfast items the day before, and when you check out in the morning, everything is already prepared for you. And honestly, the selection was surprisingly generous. It definitely didn’t feel like they were just rushing us out the door. Overall, this is a really solid hotel. The service is excellent, the location is fantastic, and the restaurant is definitely worth visiting. So if you’re planning a trip to Singapore, this hotel is absolutely worth considering.
