This first episode is the Pattern Edition, and I’m sharing how I’m thinking through pattern shopping moving forward, especially if you’ve relied on those in-store sales, easy browsing, and last-minute pattern grabs. I talk through practical next steps for finding patterns now—what to look for when you can’t flip the envelope over in person, how to plan ahead a little more, and how I’m approaching building a pattern collection that actually fits my sewing life (instead of impulse-buying because there’s a big sale sign). The big takeaway is that we still have options, but we may need to shift how we shop: being more intentional, using online resources, and leaning into the sewing community to find tried-and-true recommendations.
