Amos Fortune Free Man
Amos Fortune Free Man is one I read to my kids a few years ago, and they actually really liked it. Lydia told me she didn’t remember much, so since it was on her history list, I’m having her read it again. It’s a very good book, but I will say it’s also very sad.
