beautiful rare snow day at home I'm coming to you with a list this morning because I have a few things to tackle today today feels like the perfect day to enjoy watching ing the snowfall makes some random reels and rest I'll definitely do all of that too but first i'm going to organize a few of the Hidden unorganized areas around my home that I have been procrastinating on for the past few days while I do this I'll share some tips hacks and secrets with you so that you can keep your space organized and clutter-free let's get started [Music] honestly my kitchen pantry did not get much attention after the last YouTube video I made on Pantry organization which was maybe around 9 months back I do restock the pantry regularly and the organization system I set I think is working well but the lower part is where clutter seems to accumulate a lot so I'm giving it a quick fix today [Music] it's very important to let your space set limits every shelf bin and drawer has a natural capacity if things keep piling up or overflowing it's a sign that either there's too much stuff or the system isn't working sometimes it just takes a little bit of reorganizing decluttering or maybe I'm de ganting to make everything feel more put together and it shows if I'm honest you're the leaves in mid arest and I've come out here to say that I love you ooh ooh you ooh [Music] oh I have sectioned the floor of my kitchen pantry to store all the bulky and overstocked items prep packet snacks oils and flowers from Costco come in large packaging and since it takes us a while to go through them I prefer keeping them separate we don't want all the extra stuff taking up valuable space on our shelves so I use large floor baskets to to store the items we don't need right away this way it's easier for the pantry to stay organized you can easily access what you need without cluttering the main shelves I love you ooh ooh you ooh [Music] it's time to tackle my laundry room next this space tends to collect a little bit of everything since it's right next to our garage it naturally becomes a landing zone for things we bring in besides just the laundry supplies of course it's a functional space but because it's tucked away it's easy for things to pile up before even I notice [Music] one of the best organizing Secrets I have learned is to stop fighting my natural habits and routines for example my purse and grocery bags always end up in the laundry room instead of forcing myself to change the habit I have added hooks here to create a designated spot for them now they have a home and I'm not constantly wasting time trying to force a system that doesn't work for me the same goes for these socks I keep them in the laundry room so they are always easy to grab when heading out another organizing secret that makes a big difference is sorting and decluttering before organizing keeping similar items together not only helps you find things quickly but also makes it easier for the whole family to know where things belong [Music] in smaller spaces behind the door organizers work wonders for keeping the like items together I installed these peel and stick holders for my everyday cleaning supplies they keep everything in one spot easy to see and grab when needed [Music] organizing is personal what works perfectly for one person might feel completely impractical for someone else some of us love detailed systems everything neatly stored in in clear containers carefully labeled and maybe even colorcoded others prefer a mix of macro and micro organizing keeping things simple while adding structure only where it truly matters the key is knowing your style so you can create systems that you will actually use and maintain over time [Music] macro organizing is perfectly okay too when dealing with multiple small items you can't always sort and label every single thing down to the Last Detail and honestly you don't have to it will make your organization all the way more [Music] complicated this one for example is my This and That B I also have another one that stores multiple things in one place they have multiple different items but it still works for me as it contains everything together sometimes broad categories are all you need to stay organized [Music] it's always a great idea to reuse what you already have before going out and buying new organizers Sometimes the best Storage Solutions are right at home just waiting to be repurposed I got this wooden crate from Costco that originally held wine bottles and instead of tossing it I'm reusing it here today to make it more functional I I added felt pads to the bottom so it slides easily without scratching the [Music] surface this is a foldable mini ironing board that I got last month I wanted something compact that would fit well in my small laundry room and this one turned out to be perfect it's it's just the right size for someone who only needs to iron occasionally what I love most is that it folds in half and can be easily hung up keeping it out of sight when not in use this helps me avoid the visual clutter while still keeping it accessible whenever I need it simple space- Saving Solutions like this make such a difference in maintaining an organized [Music] home I love this small magnetic lint bin that sticks right to the side of the washer it keeps lint from piling up on top of the machine and makes the clean up so much easier [Music] Here's the final tip maintain as you go organizing isn't something we do once and forget about it needs regular upkeep but
