Ifi-audio Product

The iFi xDSD Gryphon is a $599 portable DAC/amp that I see as a “one unit does everything” kind of product—portable, desktop-friendly, and Bluetooth-ready. It’s neutral but still has that iFi naturalness, and the feature set (line out, S/PDIF, hardware XBass/XPresence, and 1W on 4.4) is the real reason to pay the premium.

+Hardware XBass/XPresence works even on line out
+Versatile I/O: line out, S/PDIF, USB, balanced and single-ended

Cons

-Very expensive at $599
-Included USB-C cable didn’t work for charge/data as expected (needed third-party cable)
-Pop sound when toggling XBass/XPresence after some use, especially at higher volume
-Battery longevity/replaceability isn’t clearly user-friendly
-When connected to PC it still powers from internal battery (would like a bypass option)
