Fender Quantum LT4

The Fender Quantum LT4 is a super practical home-studio interface if you want fast setup, low-latency monitoring, and loopback for capturing computer audio. I like that inputs 1–2 are designed for plug-and-play instruments, while inputs 3–4 give you proper mic/line flexibility—and in my session I had no problem getting healthy gain on an SM7B without extra inline boosters.

Pros

  • +Low-latency monitoring through Universal Control
  • +Loopback (USB 1/2) makes recording computer audio simple
  • +Mic/line combo inputs on 3–4 with front-panel gain control
  • +Instrument inputs 1–2 are quick to use for guitars/bass
  • +Clear clip indicators (green good, red bad)

Cons

  • -Phantom power is shared for inputs 3 and 4 (not independent)
  • -Inputs 1 and 2 do not have gain knobs (may surprise some users)
