I bought a refurbished MacBook Pro M1 Max with a 10-Core CPU, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and a 16" screen (model MK1A3LL/A from 2021) in 2024. I think this laptop still holds its weight, especially when editing footage with the same codec.
