This isn’t a “make it shiny” port job. We break down why burr selection matters, how port shape and cross-section are controlled, and where sanding rolls actually play a role — and where they don’t. Every cut has a purpose, and airflow always comes first. The majority of the work here is done using a ¾-inch burr for primary shaping and a ½-inch burr for tighter areas and detail work, followed by sanding rolls to smooth transitions and stabilize airflow.
