Today Tyler and I are going spearfishing in a new zone. We were super stoked to run into 3 Uluas! The first Ulua was way to massive and I did not want to shoot it. It was an awesome experience to just let it swim around me and check me out. The second Ulua came around after I shot that Omilu. There was a shark trying to eat the Omilu and the Ulua was head butting it away! Tyler took a drop and got a solid head shot on it, but the shaft didn’t go all the way through. So after a couple of head shakes the shaft wiggled off. The third Ulua was a big surprise and a perfect size for me. I tried to stone it, but I hit it pretty high. It ripped off easily and swam off into the sunset with his buddy. At the end of the video I am not laughing at the fish, I am laughing at how awkward I feel talking to the camera. Hence the long pause lol. I’m still trying to get used to it and I really do believe that the Ulua is fine.
