First class of Du Bois Scholars spend the summer at Harvard

The Du Bois Scholars program is a 9-week internship program that brings students from Historically Black College and Universities to Harvard University to receive mentorship and hands-on research experience. Evan Spann from Morehouse College and Oluwatomisin "Tomi" Salami from University of Maryland Eastern Shore are two of the students participating in the first year of the program. Both were paired with Harvard mentors, spent time conducting research, and had the opportunity to meet students from other HBCU's.
