These are the exact switches I used—Gateron optical yellows—and they were the main upgrade from the stock optical blues. Stock they were better but still not great in my board, but once I lubed them and fixed the rest of the keyboard, they ended up sounding and feeling awesome for gaming.

- +Sounds significantly better when lubed and paired with basic mods
Cons
- -Out-of-box sound can still be rough in an echoey case
- -Lubing takes time (around 60 switches in my build)
