This RTX 3060 Ti (Gigabyte AORUS Elite) is the card I’ve wanted since launch, and it ended up completing my main build exactly how I hoped. I picked this model for the cleaner look, RGB, factory overclock, and because the temps seemed better than some alternatives I was considering.

“well guys i finally did it i finally got my hands on this graphics card right here and for those who don't know this is the rtx 3060 ti and it's a graphics card that's been plagued with scalpers and price increases and shortages but i finally got my hands on it to put into my main pc build and in this video i'm gonna be showing you how this gpu right here really completes my build and why it was probably one of the best purchases i've ever made in the realm of computer components i've wanted the 360 ti since launch but because in 2020 i didn't really see myself needing that much power i decided to wait and also because back then it was even harder than it is now to buy a gpu the manufacturer i decided to go with for my 3060 ti was the gigabyte auroras mostly because the temps weren't as bad as zotac and also because it has some nice clean design elements like rgb and it's also factory overclocked out of the box which is really nice also this version happens to be black slash gray so it fits the whole theme for the setup that i'm kind of going for so taking out the 1650 which is comically dwarfed in this huge antique case that i have i got to say goodbye to my little friend but don't worry he'll be making more appearances in videos to come so with the 1650 out i pushed my 3060 ti into the pcie slot screwed it into the bracket and attached the pcie power cables to feed this beast and there we go it's all set unfortunately after installing the gpu i did notice there was a bit of gpu sag going on so i will be fixing that in the near future because you don't want your card to be bent by the force of the weight of the cooler and stuff pulling it down after having this card in my main build for a couple of weeks now and seeing how it pairs up with the other components i have i have to say it works really well i was a little worried about having this paired with my older ryzen 5 1600 but it doesn't cause a bottleneck at least as far as i can see and because i'm still able to use this old cpu after it being my first cpu i bought i have to say that's a win something sort of interesting to add for some context if you're a bit confused as to why i had such a huge case before even upgrading my gpu that's because i was thinking sort of into the future when i decided to buy this case because i knew i wanted an rtx card in the future that was going to be big and require a lot of power so i kind of upgraded things in advance i got a big case and i also got an 850 watt power supply so i wouldn't really have to worry when it came to power draw i think my upgrade plan for this build worked out really well i often times sort of have second thoughts when it comes to big purchasing decisions like this because you know it was around 700 and it's not something i need but when you actually compare the performance between this card and my old 1650 just looking at the specs alone really gives you all the information you need this card blows my old one out of the water gddr5 versus gddr6 four more gigabytes of vram over double the streaming multi-cores and about four times as many cuda cores not to mention the addition of ray tracing i don't really like comparing such polar opposite cards because they're not really meant to be compared but honestly the 30 60 ti for the price that you spend even with markups and i know they are going down now so that's a good thing i feel like for the price you cannot get anything better than this and it's such kind of like a down the middle of the road graphics card in terms of balancing price and performance that it's really a no-brainer for anybody who's looking to get into gaming and has the money to spend alright everybody that's it for this video i hope you enjoyed this sort of upgrade video me upgrading my main pc build with a new gpu let me know if you liked it down below if you think my pc looks good or not i can take some criticism don't worry and i'll be coming out with more pc build videos like this where i upgrade my main build or show you tips on how you can make yours look cleaner etc thanks for watching everybody and i will catch you in the next one peace”
