Model O

For gaming, I rotate between the Superlight and the Model O Wireless, and the Model O is a solid pick if you like a lightweight feel. It’s one of those mice most people already know, but it earns its spot when I’m in those ‘lose brain cells’ gaming sessions.

Pros

  • +Lightweight feel for fast gaming
  • +Wireless convenience for a cleaner desk

Cons

  • -Shape won’t fit every grip style
  • -Not my primary pick for office-style productivity work

What Tech Cinematics says

Hello friends new and old I'm Han and today I'm so excited to show you guys my workspace a unique blend of technology and nature [Music] tones for today's video I'll give you guys a background of the setup show you guys my most important peripherals and finally give you guys some insights onto future improvements for my workspace as someone who loves technology but also craves the Tranquility of nature I've crafted a space that brings The Best of Both Worlds right to my desk now my setup isn't what you would exactly call minimal but I assure you that every piece has a purpose this is where function meets form whether you're a gamer a professional or just someone looking to improve their Des space I hope that you're able to take some inspiration from here and if anything stood out to you be sure to let me know in the comments and I'll be sure to engage with you as usual links to everything are going to be in the description so please use them as a help support this aspiring growing channel so before we get into it I think the why of the setup is really important I am a young professional with incredibly High aspirations I'm a full-time supply chain leader at a Fortune 500 part-time content creator tricking athlete bodybuilder dmy mommy Enthusiast and a coach for a nationally ranked sport karate athlete with a strong desire to be come accomplished in all of these Endeavors I needed a space where my mind and body could not only just focus but be excited to work and create and my desk at the time just wasn't going to cut it so after moving to a new apartment I got straight to work I used Tinker CAD to model the foundation of my setup and then built the first iteration in a week back in August since then so much has changed so with that being said let me show you what I got in this space let's start with the most important part of both setups and a healthy relationship the foundation so I actually ended up finding the alpha business tabletops they came in for $15 each for the 55x 28 size which if you guys know anything about desks is actually a pretty solid deal so I got two desktops went to Ikea got eight of the adil's legs manually screwed them on and just like that I had a solid foundation for my space I personally really like my L desk formation because I have my main desk to do computer work and my side desk to read and do less intensive work shoot videos or just Ponder for a really long time overall this desk is fantastic and making it even better is the PC now I'm sure you guys are curious about the PowerHouse of the setup so bathe in its Glory this PC has enough juice that would make Arnold jealous with an RTX 470 and a core I9 this PC is more than capable of handling all my video editing and gaming needs however my favorite part of this PC has got to be the case the fractal design North is the perfect blend of tech and wood the Walnut slided front is so satisfying and just gives it such a cozy Vibe overall this case is pure nut hooked to the PC is the face of the setup the monitors my quad monitor layout is an absolute productivity Menace who knew you could do research script and watch plot all at once here are the specs for my three main monitors I've got a scepter 31in curved Ultra wide an Acer 25 in underneath and the Knockin 28 in as the side monitor my last monitor is actually a laptop that I also use when traveling it's the Asus Zenbook Pro Duo I got 4 years ago this laptop by itself is quite beefy with an RTX 270 and a core i7 it can handle fairly intensive video editing processes when in my setup it serves as the final monitor which I use to track my notion dashboard and control music this quad monitor layout is incredibly helpful in all of my Endeavors when doing my supply chain work they enable me to reference a ton of different data at once and build automation SLC code with ease when video editing I use two screens for editing and the ultrawide becomes my research reference Monitor and for those hardcore gaming sessions I enjoy losing brain cells through my bottom monitor while the other two are great for keeping Discord open and looking at guides and playthroughs holding the monitors up are two monitor stance with two arms each these monitor arms are solidly built can bench 225 and offer a lot of flexibility in case I need to move them the built-in Cable Management systems are also great as they help streamline my cables to provide me a wireless appearance for the setup going with the monitors is the mifo light bar this is a pretty budget friendly light bar that comes with a wireless Puck so my lazy ass can turn it on without having to reach all the way up the multiple temperature settings tailor to the different moods I want to set and it even has an Adaptive light capability if you're trying not to have wombat Vision by the time you're 30 a light bar is a must so with the monitors out of the way let's talk about the pieces that you'll find on the top of my desk on my main desk I have dual layer desk pads I did this because I felt that layering different colors would add a little bit more depth and sophistication to the setup it makes the placement of some of my items look a lot more purposeful on these desk pads are a plethora of productivity enhancing accessories for my keyboard I've got the techware Phantom Elite plus this is a solid entry level pre-built keyboard it has a solid deep set sound and is considered pretty budget especially in the custom keyboard space and of course here's a quick clip of what it sounds like typing on this keyboard is quite satisfying but the long work sessions do get a little exhausting so to support my wrist I have a wooden leather wrist rest and a mouse glider the black and wood stay true to the overall theme of the setup and is a great addition to the working experience for mice I have three the Logitech mx3s for work the Logitech superlite and model o Wireless for gaming I'm 99% positive that y'all are pretty familiar with these three mice so we'll move on to the other productivity items a fantastic piece of tech that I have invested into recently is this eing tablet the books air 3C the writing experience is pretty neat as it feels like actual pen and paper I use the books to take notes Journal plan my day generate video Concepts and read books additionally because it runs on Android I have also been able to download apps to Kickback and read my favorite manga my favorite non- degenerate manga because of the minimalist nature of the books it's a distraction-free tablet that enables me to focus on creating without the temptation of say an iPad to go on distracting apps another productivity item that has been essential is the Mind design Walnut stand I use this this at the start of every week to set my weekly goals and then put them on display so I can easily see whether I am on track or not it serves as a great motivator and is incredibly rewarding at the end of the week when you see that everything has been crossed off it's really hard to be productive when my desk is cluttered and messy something that has really helped me organize the Clutter is a desk shelf this is a desk shelf that I found on AliExpress it is an extremely versatile piece of Decor that not only adds more layers to my setup but allows me to hide cables and store peripherals on the desk shelf are the edifier speakers various remotes and a custom mounted wireless charger from namami underneath the desk shelf I also mounted my Dell docking station this is what enables me to hook up my work laptop to my entire ecosystem by simply plugging in the USBC cable and sliding my laptop underneath moving to the left corner of my desk are the last pieces of my main desk I've got the elevation lab anchor which holds my Sony xm4 headphones these headphones are pretty much my go-to for everything mounted to the edge is the fifine low profile mic arm which holds my zal sound USB microphone another AliExpress find the Zell mic actually surprised me with a decent sound quality it sounds professional to the average person and I have been using this mic to make all of my videos including this one I also really like the lowprofile mic arm because of its built-in cable management system managing cables is a running theme of this setup and this mic arm help helps me achieve that goal lastly while not attached to my desk but I still consider part of my main setup is my emart softbox I use this in my content creation to highlight my goofy ass self or whatever it is I'm talking about but also as a general purpose light especially when I want to light up my entire space and not just my keyboard finally the chair the chair I use is the joy fly this chair is fairly flexible with adjustable hand rests height and tilt it's got solid lumbar support and the chair is pretty tall with a curv top that acts as a headrest the mesh material can easily handle the weight of my delicious dump truck I've been using this chair for 9 months now and I still think that it's a solid pick that's pretty budget friendly the secondary desk is my go-to space to disconnect from my monitors it's for the more calm and reflective work versus the more exciting and creative air of my main desk I also have a deskmat protecting the top of this desk this was originally my main desk mat but because I had problems with some of the felt coming off and fling I moved it to my secondary desk and it has served as a great protective cover as well as a nice backdrop for showcasing products when it comes to decorations this side of my desk has some of my favorite lining up the back I have custom anime acrylic art a floating plant and a touch lamp these Decor provide great accents to the space and help motivate me to reflect and learn additionally at the end I have a walnut leather tray where I put my everyday uses while I could just have these items laying around on the table like an animal the tray helps visually organize the items and makes them look much more purposeful again we want functionality and even something like visual organization can reduce clutter and therefore improve productivity some items I keep on the tray include my USB drives the WD black SSD and wireless earbuds finally I also use my secondary desk for storage underneath my desks I mounted two drawers the one on the left is a big catch all drawer and the one on the right is a pencil drawer these drawers store all my random items that I don't use too frequently such as extra cables USBS and knit points for my eink pen to create the theme and overall Vibe of the setup I took a lot of time to plan and figure out how I wanted the backdrop to look since I was looking to Blend Tech with nature green and gray were the color schemes that I decided to go with I covered the wall with wood themed gray wallpaper as a border I installed some walnut wood shelves and a light r the shelves are the key to the backdrop because of them I can place some decorations above to fill in some of the blank space which include my vision board disc plates and Greenery the shelves also enabled me to add hanging Vines to my backdrop the vines really fill out the space and add the Natural Touch to the setup and I purposefully let them spill into other parts of my setup adding further depth to the space as a Finishing Touch I installed the Lee hang light slicers behind the vines against the wall the black and gray contrast perfectly I keep the light on to a white setting since I'd like the way a single solid color looks but the light bar does have RGB capabilities too if that's something you want overall the backdrop coupled with the theme of the overall setup perfectly Nails the vibe that I was going for all of the hardwood makes my wood so hard all the hardwood makes this space Serene it looks incredible during both the day and night time but most importantly this setup accomplishes its goal to be a space where I'm excited to work and Chase my dreams and that should be the goal of any setup if your setup doesn't make you excited to work then maybe it's time to re-evaluate and make some changes while I am incredibly happy with the way this setup turned out there are definitely still a lot of lessons learned and changes to be made in the future I'll share some of the things that I learned so that you guys can take these and potentially avoid them when building your setup as well for starters wallpaper is absolutely horrid to work with it's timec consuming and almost impossible to get perfect it also air bubbles easily which if big enough will fold itself harder than the way my girlfriend folds me in the future when I build another setup I'll definitely paint the wall to change the backdrop and maybe install some of those wall slats another area of poor foresight was the drawers because it increases the thickness of my desk sometimes the armrests of my chair will hit them providing a slight inconvenience a better solution would have just to get a cabinet and put it off to the side or just delete my armrests because rest is for the weak last but not least if I could build this setup set up all over again I would build one with a custom headboard after going online and seeing desk setup builds with headboards it made me realize that mounting my quad monitor layout to the headboard could have given me even more flexibility to play around with desk surface space and the positioning of my tables and that concludes our video for today I hope that by showing you guys my setup I provided you guys with some inspiration for your own dream workspace if you found something insightful or just have feedback please let me know in the comment section I'm always working on improving my content so with that being said thank you guys for watching and I'll see you guys in the next video
