A quick tour of the rack that lives behind just about every Hake Hardware video. No cable management, no fancy lighting — just the systems doing the work. Top of the rack: a UniFi UDM Pro for networking. Below it, my main Proxmox host (Jack): a Threadripper 3995WX with 256 GB of RAM, an RTX 3090 for local LLM work, and 48 TB of NVMe storage built from twelve 4 TB drives across three Asus Hyper M.2 Gen 4 x4 cards. The OS lives on a redundant pair of smaller drives. Below Jack, my second Proxmox host (Freddy), used for test environments and YouTube content prep. Two GMKtec mini PCs run bare metal — one Windows, one Ubuntu. UPS at the bottom of the rack. More on cybersecurity, privacy, scams, and homelab on Hake Hardware. New shorts every weekday. #homelab #proxmox #threadripper
