One of its standout features is the detachable magnetic base with strong adhesion, ensuring stability on your desk. However, be mindful when placing it on laminated surfaces, as removal could cause damage. The front of the dock has a bright LED display that indicates connected devices and features high-speed 10Gbps USB ports for quick file transfers. On the back, you’ll find a range of ports, including a 100W PD USB-C port (which outputs 85W to laptops), an additional 10Gbps USB-A port, a USB 2.0 port, a 1GB Ethernet jack, and a 3.5mm audio port. The dock also includes two HDMI and two DisplayPorts, all supporting 4K at 60Hz. A key difference between the Windows and Mac versions is display support—Windows users can connect up to three 4K monitors, but with a 30Hz cap when using all three, while Mac users are limited to two displays. One feature missing from this dock is an SD card reader, which would have been a great addition for content creators. However, Baseus does offer a 17-in-1 model with an SD card slot if that’s a priority for you. After using this dock for three weeks, the experience has been seamless, with stable connections and no screen flickering. Transfer speeds have been impressive, reaching up to 1000MB/s when moving large files from a portable SSD. The built-in lock button adds convenience, instantly locking your laptop with a single press (or double press on Mac). While the adhesive base keeps the dock secure, a non-adhesive alternative would be a welcome addition for easier portability.
