April in the forest — snow still covers the ground, but the bears have already left their dens. And they're walking right past my cabin. I took my dog and headed deep into the taiga to spend 2 days at my off-grid log cabin — a place I built with my own hands, far from electricity and running water. In April the forest is still frozen, but the wilderness is slowly waking up. On the first day, I checked the trail cameras I had set up near the cabin. The footage stopped me cold — bears had just emerged from hibernation and were moving through the area, not far from where I sleep. This is the most unpredictable time to be alone in the forest, and you have to stay sharp. But life at the cabin goes on. I collected water from the river, fired up the wood stove to warm the cabin, and ended the day sitting by an open campfire — cooking dinner over the flames in the cold spring night, with my dog by my side. No electricity. No running water. Just the forest, the fire, and the sound of the taiga coming back to life. This is what off-grid living really looks like. 📌 Subscribe for more off-grid life, log cabin adventures, and wilderness survival from the Siberian taiga → @forest_stor Get vidIQ to grow your channel faster! 🚀 https://vidiq.com/WOODMENForestlif
