About This Video

In this large family vlog, I’m keeping it real about sick days and how our whole house has been taking things one day at a time. When you’ve got 11 kids, you don’t really get to “pause” life, but you do learn how to slow down, adjust expectations, and just do what you can. I share what it looks like in our home when energy is low—sticking to the basics, leaning into simple routines, and giving ourselves grace. I also get outside when I can, because sometimes fresh air and a tiny bit of movement helps my mind as much as my body. Even when it feels like a slow season—whether it’s in the garden or just life in general—I’m still trying to keep moving forward in small ways. If you’re in a season where you’re not getting as much done as you want, I hope this encourages you to keep trying, keep showing up, and remember that “what we can” is enough for today.
