It’s stable, fast and reliable, and it just works every single time — even for big and complex websites (up to 300GB+). I walk you through the exact steps: install the plugin on both the old site and the new site, grab the validation key from the destination website, paste it into the source website, enter your email address, double-check you’re migrating in the right direction, and then initiate the migration. I also explain why it can be so fast: your site is first sent to a temporary server (from BlogVault, the company behind Migrate Guru) and then pushed to the new location. That avoids the common problem where backups slow down your server or fail because you don’t have enough storage space on the same hosting account. After the migration, I show you what to check: test pages, log in, and if something looks weird, go to Settings → Permalinks and save them a few times.
