About This Video

Hello people, my name is Ferdy and in this video I show you the layout of Elementor V4 (the Atomic Editor) and the most important settings I like to configure before I really start building. The biggest change compared to Elementor V3 is that you now see Atomic Elements at the top, but Elementor V4 is still combined with V3. So you can keep using containers, the grid, and all the classic widgets (and Pro widgets if you have Pro), while V4 features will be added over time. Then I optimize my workspace so I can work faster and more focused. I close distracting pop-ups, switch the panel to dark mode (better for my eyes when I work longer), and I enable quick edit handles so I can duplicate and edit without constantly right-clicking. I also show you how I use the Structure panel all the time (and how to toggle it with Ctrl/Cmd + I), how to dock it to the right if you have a big screen, and which keyboard shortcuts I actually use (save and preview). Finally, I explain when to use Elementor Canvas vs Full Width, and I set a default page layout in Site Settings. Even though V4 will move away from global colors/fonts and use classes instead (which is so much better), I still set up global colors and fonts as a backup for V3 elements, so later in the course nothing feels confusing.
