Hello people, my name is Ferdy, and in this Divi 5 tutorial I show you how to create a fully custom global footer for your WordPress website. We build it from scratch inside the Divi Theme Builder, so it shows on every single page. I use my own website as a reference (yes, the one I paid tens of thousands for—now I’ll just teach you how to make something like it), and we recreate a clean, professional footer with a logo area, a gradient background using global colors, and a social media follow section. After that, we expand the footer with a four-column layout, add headings like “About” and icon lists with arrow icons, and style everything with consistent colors (white text, orange accents), spacing, and borders. I also show you how to work faster by copying and pasting styles, duplicating rows, and extending hover/link attributes across the entire footer so every link gets the same hover effect. Finally, we check responsiveness on desktop, tablet, and smartphone—and you’ll see Divi 5 is amazing at handling that. Then it’s simply a matter of linking everything to the right pages and you’re done.
