About This Video

Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Ferdy, and in this Divi 5 tutorial I show you step-by-step how to build a responsive header that looks great on desktop, tablet, and mobile. We start in the Divi 5 Theme Builder by creating a global header with a logo, menu, and a call-to-action button, plus a top bar with icons and trust text. I also show you how I style things using presets, hover states, spacing, and typography (I use Montserrat), so your header looks professional instead of “default Divi”. Then we take it to the next level for mobile: I create a separate header section for tablets/phones with a logo on the left and a hamburger icon on the right, and I use visibility settings so each header only shows on the right devices. After that, I build a slide-in mobile menu on a separate canvas, make it fixed, set a high z-index, and use Divi 5 interactions to hide it on page load and toggle it open/closed when you click the hamburger and the close icon. Finally, I add animation (a quick slide-in), make the header transparent, and adjust margins/padding so the layout stays clean on every screen size.
