Hello and welcome back 🤍🇮🇹 I hope you enjoy this vlog sharing our first 2 days in Rome, Italy! I feel so incredibly grateful to have visited such a beautiful city. I have always dreamed of visiting Rome since I was a little girl. It was surreal to finally be able to make the visit, and even better - with my family. We spent our first day walking around shops and passing the time until we could check into our Airbnb. We went to bed early that night and skipped out on dinner because we were just SO exhausted from a long travel day. It was a 4 hour flight from California to Georgia, and then a 9-hour flight from Georgia to Rome! This doesn't include our driving time to the airport and layover. After a full night of rest, our first stop was the Trevi Fountain. It was unreal. We walked around the city more before heading to the Vatican Museums and St Peter's Basilica. We even hiked the dome (551) steps! to the very top. We concluded our long day with dinner at Tonarello. This spot had over 70,000 reviews on Google so we just had to try it. About This Video

Come with me for our first two days in Rome, Italy—this trip honestly felt surreal because I’ve dreamed of visiting Rome since I was a little girl. I’m sharing an Airbnb tour, a little bit of shopping while we waited to check in, and all the “first day in a new city” moments that come with a long travel day. We were so exhausted after flying from California to Georgia and then Georgia to Rome (plus driving and a layover), we literally went to bed early and skipped dinner. After a full night of rest, we started day two at the Trevi Fountain and it was unreal seeing it in person. From there, we kept walking and exploring before heading to the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica—yes, we even did the dome climb (551 steps) all the way to the top. We wrapped up our long day with dinner at Tonarello, which had over 70,000 Google reviews, so we had to try it. If you love travel days with cozy outfits, lots of walking, and little life updates, this Rome vlog is for you—more Italy vlogs are coming.
