I like the Hoover CleanSlate Plus when the job is upholstery or fresh spills you want to tackle quickly. It’s lightweight with a dual-tank design, and it handled red wine and coffee fast—but tougher stains like tomato sauce, chocolate, and dirt took a lot more scrubbing, and older urine stains on low-pile carpet were basically a no-go in my test.
