Geeni Sentry is the budget-friendly floodlight camera that still brings a lot to the table—bright 2,100-lumen lights and clear 1080p video where I could make out facial features. It’s hardwired, and I liked having the SD card option for storage if you don’t want to pay for cloud.

- -Motion detection range was only about 16 ft in my testing
- -Motion sensitivity can be too high (triggered by small birds), and the siren is very loud
- -Small SD cards can fill up quickly (8GB ran out during my test period)
