The AirDoctor AD3500 dominated my VOC testing thanks to its proprietary dual-action carbon filter and ultraHEPA filtration down to 0.003 microns. In my 400 sq ft paint-fume test, the chemical smell disappeared within about 20 minutes, and the auto mode ramped up fast even when I started cooking two rooms away. It’s also legitimately quiet in Whisper Mode, but you’re paying premium money for that performance.
