NotebookLM has just had some serious upgrades — and these aren’t “nice to have” tweaks. In this video I walk you through 6 new features that genuinely change how you research, learn, teach, and create content with AI. I demo each update so you can see what’s new, how it works, and (most importantly) how you can actually use it in real life if you’re building content systems or marketing funnels. First, I show the new audio overview formats, including critique and debate podcasts, which are brilliant for stress-testing ideas and avoiding blindly accepting guru advice. Then I demo the upgraded Source Finder with “Deep Research,” which helped me pull in 29 additional credible sources fast. After that, I get into the visuals: the new infographic generator (powered by Google’s Nano Banana Pro) is insanely good for compressing complex ideas into something you can learn from, teach with, or drop into blog content. From there I show the slide deck generator for building presenter-style slides for courses, webinars, and workshops, plus the upgraded video overviews with more control over format and style (including anime, whiteboard, retro, and more). Finally, the sleeper feature: expanded uploads. You can now upload images (like a photo of whiteboard notes), and NotebookLM can turn that into infographics and flashcards — a massive time-saver.
