I put together this “what goes where” diagram to make the scheduling decision obvious, because Claude now has multiple surfaces that look similar but behave very differently. If you want a quick framework based on time horizon and access needs (local vs connectors vs repo-only), this is the cheat sheet I wish people used before their tasks silently die.
