In this video I’m flipping through the new mass market edition of Boadicea’s Tarot of Earthly Delights, and if you love bold collage decks with a surreal, museum-meets-dreamscape vibe, this one is such a treat to explore together. I take you card-by-card through the full deck so you can really see the artwork up close, the color saturation, and how the symbolism pulls from antiquity through the Golden Age. It’s richly layered and unapologetically strange in the best way—definitely a “pause and stare” kind of deck. We also talk about what makes this deck structurally unique: it’s an 80-card tarot with two bonus cards (The Perspicacious Platypus and Boadicea the Queen), and the Minor Arcana has been reimagined into whimsical suits—Combustion, Tentacles, Aether, and Fungi.
