Episode 38 - Return to Silver Mountain

In this episode we take a trip up to Michigan's upper peninsula to climb at Silver Mountain outside of Baraga, MI. The black basalt cliff is in the Ottawa National forest and offers tons of quality mid-grade climbing and is literally about 300ft from the dispersed camping area. There is something here for everyone including trad, sport and even some multi-pitch sport climbs. We focused on the 5.9 routes which felt a little soft and the grades here are definitely still settling on mountain project, but the quality is high regardless. We also focused on the fantastic 2 pitch sport climb called "Above Hell, Beyond Heaven" which is a must do line for anyone visiting the crag.
