In this episode Omar and I go to Devil's Lake State Park to take on a super classic moderate hand crack called Dippy Diagonal. Devil's Lake is a beautiful place to climb primarily comprised of hard quartzite rock cliffs known for their iconic purple color. With over 1500 routes there is a lifetime of climbing to be done. But be aware that there is no bolting at Devil's Lake. That means no sport climbing, but there are also no bolted anchors. This isn't really an issue because access to the tops of routes is easy, but you will need to know how to build an anchor. Because of the no bolting rule, Devil's Lake is a popular place for top roping, but leading on gear is also very popular hear especially if you have spent the time to headpoint a route.
