Foam brushes for sealing concrete
Foam brushes are still my favorite way to apply concrete sealer because they lay it down evenly and they’re easy to manage. I’ll even keep one going for a week or two by storing it in a plastic bag between coats to reduce waste.
Pros
- +Applies sealer smoothly and evenly
- +Inexpensive and easy to use
- +Can be reused short-term if stored properly
Cons
- -Foam eventually degrades
- -Not ideal for very detailed/precision edges compared to some brushes
